Conference Schedule and Themes
Series Title: "Tested but Triumphant, Seeing God through our Temptations"
Friday: Temptation is Not Surrender
Text: James 1:13–15; 1 Corinthians 21
Theme: Being tempted doesn’t make you sinful — giving in does.
Summary: David was tempted, and it led him to sin and eventually towards repentance and God’s mercy. The presence of temptation doesn’t prove your weakness; your surrender does. Learn to stand firm in grace when sin seeks your “yes”
Saturday Morning: Temptation Can Be Silenced
Text: 1 Corinthians 10:13
Theme: God always provides a way of escape.
Summary: Temptation doesn’t have the final say: Jesus does! With Scripture, Spirit, and self-control, believers can silence temptation’s voice before it becomes sin’s victory.
Saturday Afternoon: Temptation is a Setup
Text: Matthew 4:1–11
Theme: Every temptation is a setup, either for your stumbling or your strengthening.
Summary: The devil meant to destroy Jesus in the wilderness, but God used that same moment to demonstrate His power. What Satan intends as a snare, God can turn into a setup for your sanctification.
