Sojourn Kids

Sojourn Kids exists to show kids Jesus so that they grow up to be like him and go tell others about him.

Each Sunday we provide a kid-friendly, safe environment where kids learn about Jesus from the Bible. We partner with parents in teaching and caring for their children by providing resources for families that correspond with our Sunday curriculum.

What to Expect

Your First Visit

Look for the area designated for first-time families. We’ll meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. We’ll ask for your family’s contact information and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

How Check-in Works

After your first visit, you may check in your child at any available station. After finding your family’s listing, you and your child will print matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and visit. After the service, you’ll return to your child’s classroom and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

The Ride Home

On your way out the door, make sure your child has their activity sheet that was provided during their class. It highlights the main point for today’s Bible story, gives you the memory verse and “Big Picture” question we’re memorizing with the kids during our Sunday classes. As you drive home, ask your child, “What did you learn about Jesus in today’s story?” It's our goal that every child can answer this question every week!

Stay Connected

Throughout the year we offer several different events for families to enjoy together. Be sure to regularly check out our Events page for fun family events to help you connect with other families in our church.
